If you hold a CFD position overnight, a swap applies: a financing charge that is either debited as a cost or credited, depending on the product and direction. This calculator shows you what that means for your product, your position size and your holding period.
How it works: search for your product, choose long or short, and enter the lots plus the opening and closing date – from a few days to several years. The calculator counts the nights automatically and takes the weekdays into account: usually one day per week carries a triple swap to cover the weekend.
The swap rates are taken automatically from a MetaTrader 5 account and updated regularly. They are a guide only; the values in your own trading platform always apply.
