Nasdaq 100, M5. Trade a day candle by candle with the session lines.
Loading …Quick guide: how the simulator works
- Choose market and day: In the order panel you choose Nasdaq 100, S&P 500, Dow Jones, EUR/USD or Gold (XAU/USD). “New day” loads a random past trading day, “Day of the week” loads the day everyone is trading this week.
- Start the day: “Start” plays the day candle by candle, “Next candle” moves forward one candle at a time. Choose the speed with 0.5×, 1×, 3× or 10×.
- Read the session lines: The daily open is drawn from the start. The lines for 08:00, 10:00, 14:00 and 15:30 appear as soon as that time is reached. With “Draw line” you add your own horizontal lines.
- Prepare the order: Choose your starting balance, risk per trade, stop distance in points and your target as a risk-reward ratio (RRR). The position size is calculated automatically.
- Enter: “Long” bets on rising prices, “Short” on falling prices. With “Market” you enter at the close of the current candle. With “Limit price” you set an entry price, and the order is filled as soon as the market reaches it.
- Manage the position: You can drag stop and target in the chart with your mouse or finger. Alternatively, type in a new stop price or move the stop to break-even. “Close all” ends the position and any open order immediately.
- Review: On the right you see your balance, result in R, hit rate and drawdown, with your trades below. 1 R equals your risk at entry. “Your progress” collects the results of all the days you have traded.

Practice with play money (starting balance selectable), no real orders and no investment advice. Prices are delayed 5-minute data from past trading days (Nasdaq 100, S&P 500, Dow Jones, euro and gold futures, source: Yahoo Finance; gold and euro futures usually trade slightly above the XAU/USD and EUR/USD spot prices), times in Vienna time (CET/CEST). Size is calculated in euros per point, or per pip for EUR/USD; currency conversion and spread are not taken into account. If a candle hits both stop and target, the stop counts. R always refers to the original stop distance, even if you trail your stop. For the day of the week, only your result in R is stored anonymously. Charts by TradingView (Lightweight Charts).
